CALABAR ALUMNI DAY-2026

CALABAR ALUMNI DAY-2026

A soccer player in green controls the ball during a match with spectators in the background.

ONE CALABAR

Trust me—you had to be there… because Calabar Alumni Day 2026 was EPIC! 🔥

First off, big respect to all the gents who came out and represented the alumni community in style. The vibes? Immaculate.

Now yes… the rain tried to play spoiler, so we didn’t get the cricket match we planned. BUT Coach Sean Newell and alumnus Darren Laidlaw said “not today!” and turned things into a lively evening knock-around that had everybody entertained. Proper improvisation!

Coach Ludlow had the young men ready from 1:00 PM sharp—no “Jamaican time” there 😄. We went to battle… and let’s just say the Alumni had to remind them who paved the way—VICTORY was ours!

Then came football… and wow. Coach Jeremy and his squad lifted the Alty McKoy trophy again (they’re getting a little too comfortable with it 👀). But don’t worry—the Alumni team is building strength… next year, we’re coming for it. No jokes this time… well, maybe small jokes 😆

Big shoutout to:

* Michael “Mc P” McPherson—top-tier MC, kept everything flowing smoothly

* Principal Sian—always inspiring, always pushing the vision forward

* David Johnson & staff—because nobody can enjoy vibes on an empty stomach 🙌

* Richard Gordon—for making sure we had lights when the sun clocked out

* Kevin Price - for providing Bounce House and Merry go round for all to enjoy

* Richard Crawford and Peter Skelly Green for the amazing stage, tables and lighting display

* DJ Courtney, Slauta & Selecta Drew—pure vibes all evening!

DJ Smurf—respect always. We know it was out of your control, and you were definitely missed. Next year we lock it in!

To our student-athletes and awardees—keep shining. You’re making the whole Rabalac family proud 💪

To all the chapters and special groups—thank you for the love, the support, and the generous contributions.

And to the real MVPs—the Alumni. Some of you have been showing up, giving back, and supporting these young men for years. That doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate you more than words can say.

To the extended crew—parents, spouses, partners, neighbors, and friends—thank you for being part of the energy and the experience.

Same place, same vibes next year… and trust me—you don’t want to miss it again 😎

One Rabalac. Always Rabalac.

Ms. Antoinette Pantry
